Title: Worth having a "Website Issues & Suggestions" Forum?

Just a thought, but based on some of the other forums I use for hobbies, is it worth creating a "Website Issues & Suggestions" Forum?

This could be used to log ideas for new topics to cover, for testing that logins are working properly, for announcements about system downtime etc.

I would have put a post there about the fact that I had an email saying:

The username you registered with was art and the password was

Before you can login and start using the forum, your request will be reviewed and approved.  When this happens, you will receive another email from this address.

Note the bit in bold....but I never received another email and yet can now post!
