ICSI

Hi - just joined the forum and wondered if anyone could give any helpful tips or stories about icsi. My wife and I start it next month, primarily because of my low sperm count. How do you get over the feeling of general inadequacy?

As per my comment in your thread in the "General Discussion" forum, we has ICSI last summer due to my poor sperm mobility and quality. We had five embryos which started to develop, of which three progressed well, one was implanted (and took) and we froze two at blastocyst stage.

I'd say that ICSI can work really well, so don't get too disheartened. Best wishes for you both.
